Here at Wild River Adventures, we know you have your own idea of the perfect Idaho white water raft trip. Whether it’s a half day float with friends and family, or an overnight excursion that gets you off the grid for a few days, we got you! Want a guide who does all the rowing? Done. Would you rather grab a paddle and pitch in? We’re happy to hand you an oar. We’ll even bring inflatable kayaks, upon request.

Because we believe safety is the most important part of any trip, you can rest assured that every float with Wild River Adventures is headed by a fully-trained and licensed guide. We provide all necessary safety equipment, as well as wetsuits and splash gear, and are pleased to include the following to our guests on all our trips:

  • Transportation to and from the launch areas
  • Dry-storage on the raft
  • Lunch and beverages

Half Day White Water Rafting Trip

If you want a super fun day of splashes, sand and Idaho’s finest surf, this is the float trip for you. After a launch at Vinegar Creek, we’ll run you down 10 miles of the beautiful Salmon River and steer you through the best rapids this section has to offer. We land at the Lucile Recreation Site take-out at about 4:30 p.m. where you’re met by the Wild River Adventures shuttle driver and be taken back to our offices.

  • $65 per person; includes all taxes and supplies with the exception of a 3% BLM fee; includes beverages only; lunch is not included.
  • Meet at our offices in Riggins, Idaho at 9:30 a.m. or 2:00pm (MST) the day of your float trip.

One Day White Water Rafting Trip

This full-day, 40 mile raft trip begins with a float through 20 miles of stunning river canyon scenery and roaring rapids. We stop at a white sand beach for a tasty lunch that includes one of the most complete deli spreads you’ll ever see along with handmade salads. Then, it’s back on the river for another 20 miles of rapids and a few stops to explore some historical sites. We land at the Lucile Recreation Site take-out at about 4:30 p.m. where you’re met by the Wild River Adventures shuttle driver and be taken back to our offices.

  • $95 per person; includes all taxes and supplies with the exception of a 3% BLM fee.
  • Meet at our offices in Riggins, Idaho at 9:30 a.m. (MST) the morning of your float trip.

Multi-day Overnight White Water Rafting Trips

Each of our overnight float trips has something unique to offer, but they all bare the hallmark of our commitment to giving you the best outdoor river experience possible.

Is a bit of fishing in order? You bring the license and we’ll have the gear ready – no extra charge.

Once we’re off the water for the day, you’ll relax as our guides prepare camp. Ready for a bit of beach fun and sport? We’ll bust out the bocce ball, football, frisbee and golf. Want to sit and watch the water roll by as the sun sets? Grab an empty chair and stick your feet in the sand – it’s been set up for you.

Meals and snacks? Done. Our guides have a number of tried and true, homemade recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so you’ll never go hungry – plus, they even do the dishes! What’s on the menu? Things like:

  • Huckleberry pancakes
  • Scromelettes (scrambled egg omelettes) with bacon and cheese
  • Pasta salad
  • Taco salad
  • Barbecue steak
  • Salmon and red potatoes
  • Pineapple upside-down cake

Two Day Overnight White Water Rafting Trip

Launching further up the Main Salmon River at Kerry Creek, this trip gives you more time for spotting Idaho wildlife eagles, deer and sheep. And those extra river miles? They also mean more rapids! We land at the Lucile Recreation Site take-out, where you’re met by the Wild River Adventures shuttle driver and taken back to our offices.

  • $395 per person; includes all taxes and supplies with the exception of a 3% BLM fee.
  • Meet at our offices in Riggins, Idaho at 8 a.m. (MST) the morning of your float trip.

Three Day Overnight White Water Rafting Trip

Launching at Hammer Creek, this trip shows off the sandy beaches and four unique canyons that make up the Lower Gorge of Salmon River; Green Canyon, Krueger Canyon, Snow Hole Canyon, and Blue Canyon. Commonly sighted wildlife includes eagles, sheep, otter, quail, and deer, and the rapids are rollercoaster worthy. Landing at the Snake River confluence, you’re met by the Wild River Adventures shuttle driver and taken back to our offices.

Four Day Overnight White Water Rafting Trip

Launching at Hammer Creek, this four day float gives you an extended look at the four canyons – and stunning beaches – that make up the Lower Gorge of the Salmon River. You’ll also have time to pull in and explore a few sites that figure prominently in the area’s history. Landing at the Snake River confluence, you’re met by the Wild River Adventures shuttle driver and taken back to our offices.
